Using this site with assistive technology
The goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This page says what has actually been done, what is known to fall short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
What has been done
The page is built from ordinary headings, links, buttons and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through it by structure. Everything works from the keyboard, and the focus ring is a thick, high-contrast outline rather than the browser default, so it stays visible against the photographs.
Text meets AA contrast against its background in both the light and dark themes, and the theme follows your operating system setting unless you override it with the toggle in the header. Text scales with the browser's zoom and text-size settings without the layout breaking.
Nothing moves, flashes or plays on its own. Video thumbnails are still images, and the player only loads after you press play — so nothing starts talking at you when the page opens. Decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers; the ones that carry meaning have descriptions. Play buttons announce which video they play.
Known limitations
The video player is Rumble's, loaded inside the page. Its controls and captions are Rumble's to build and we can't fix them from here — if the player itself is the barrier, the “Watch on Rumble” link takes you to the same video on their site, where their own accessibility settings apply.
Captions on the videos themselves depend on what Rumble generates; they are not authored by hand.
The contact email address is assembled by JavaScript to keep it away from address harvesters, so with JavaScript switched off it does not appear at all. The social links on the homepage are ordinary links and work regardless.
This site has not been through a formal third-party accessibility audit. The statement above describes how it was built and tested, not a certification.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If any part of this site is hard or impossible to use, please say so through the contact page. It helps to know what you were trying to do, which page, and what you were using — browser, screen reader, magnification. Reports get a reply, and anything fixable on this site gets fixed.
